This net is outstanding if you want to practice your stroke at home/out doors. It took me about 20-30 minutes to put up on my first try but after that it takes me on average about 10-15 minutes. I don’t hit the real golf balls in the neighborhood for fear of missing the net but I do use some good practice balls that are pretty good substitutes but won’t shatter a window or cause damage. I only use my net to maintain and emphasize learned technique and form…to truly get a guage on how you’re hitting ‘em, you will have to go to the range as this product won’t reveal your slices/pulls.

After doing considerable internet research to find just the right golf net, I decided on purchasing this one. Mostly because I wanted a large net, and a relatively inexpensive one.
Setup – with two people it was a breeze, about 10 -15 minutes total, be careful when manipulating the rods
After continuous use, perhaps 2-3 hours everyday for a week, holes were developing in the very bottom edge of the mat where the black plastic meets the white netting in the back. The force of my shot was tearing the plastic near the seam. I basically have to make sure I don’t hit any hard grounders or the ball flies right through.
However, considering that other nets advertising nearly the same utility could cost up to $2,000, I thought this net was a bargain and am ultimately satisfied with it. I just wish the durability was higher.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, after a lot of research on other golf tents. He loves this. I also bought him a little putting mat to go with it, and he was out there Christmas afternoon and the rest of the weekend. One complaint was that the elastic that goes thru the poles had broken and the poles came apart. If he wanted to wait, we would have sent it back for a new one. Instead, he fixed it himself and started golfing!!!

I like this hitting net. It’s a little difficult to assemble by yourself, but it is possible. I don’t think they could make it any better, so in all fairness, it is a good design. The reason I give this net 3 stars is because the target that hangs in the middle has already torn. I hit maybe 100 balls into the net and it tore. I am currently going to try and get a new one for free or try and hang something else up. Maybe some type of clothe will work? I don’t know, but I do like the net.
